When booking a vehicle with Franklin Rentals all drivers must be aged 23 years or over and hold a Full Driver’s License for a minimum of 1 year
(Exceptions can be made for people who are under 23 years of age, who hold a class 2 license and are self insured).
Car Rental drivers must be 21 years of age or over.
You will need a Credit Card (not Debit Card) to reserve the vehicle for you. If you do not have a Credit Card you will need to pay for the vehicle in advance and a Cash Bond or Bond from an EFTPOS Card will be asked for on the day.
Truck Hire -To cancel a truck rental we need a minimum of 72 hour’s notice.. If you do not inform us, before the above stated times you will be charged a day’s rental or 50 % of the rental whichever is the greater.
Minibus Hire – To cancel a van rental we need a minimum of 72 hours notice. A Non Refundable deposit is required when booking Minibuses on Bank Holidays or Special Event Weekends.
Trailer Hire – Payment is taken upon booking of Trailer – Please Note : Money is Non-Refundable if you cancel the booking
All vehicles are rented (by the operator) Fully Fueled and must be returned (by the Customer) Fully Fueled.
There is no additional charge for Extra Driver’s but we do need to view the license when picking up the vehicle.
